New SX-70 Skin

Finished replacing the old skin on my white SX-70. Only one section came off in one piece, the rest took some work to get off....
Decided to use black instead of the original brown.

SX-70 Skin Fix!

I bought a set of new coverings from ebay. A guy in Japan makes different covers for old cameras. My white SX-70's covering was disenigrating so I am going o give this a try.

Here is a link to his ebay store.

Booska was a character from the mid 1960's in Japan. My sister-in-law picked this toy up at a cool toy store in Kyoto.

Polaroid One 600 Panna

Polaroid Japan will be selling 3000 limited edition white Polaroid One. The cool feature is that it will include a separate marco lens attachment to get as close as 30-60mm.

They also plan to sell a custom ND filter in Japan for the SX-70 adaption to 600 film. The price for the Polaroid One is about $90.00 US, no price on the ND filter.

Eishi Takaoka

Polaroid SX-70

Went to see a show by Eishi Takaoka at GR2. Cool little wood carved heads, if you are in West L.A. check it out. My Polaroid jammed after this photo, the black line was a bad sign. I had to pull out the film and lost 3 shots.
